well . was supposed to blog yesterday but i was too tired and was either mugging or sleeping . ha . well with only two chapters and some practices to clear for my chem , i'll take a break .

sydney was memorable . all the experiences , opening night at sydney town hall , competition and master class at angel place , where well i felt like shit again at least it didn't affect us huh , and of course opera house where we played as the command band on the closing night . i will remember being backstage and the feeling there and then and my beloved family trying to make me relax . hahaa we did well in sydney i suppose and i want to take the J2s for being a huge part of my life in ac band . yupp i would say this perc section is the best i've been in so far and the seniors are a mix of the quirky percussionists i've ever seen . from the food and drinking brendan , the bimbotic eunices , the sickening pro shit arthur and my mom crystal . you guys better come back and visit . brendan please come back sober . REALLY SOBER hahahahah .

well there's syf next yr , and of course that's the big one , let's go in there next yr and land a spot for presentation night there next yr and if we have to then let presentation night be our face off with that band and him .

the shopping in sydney was fun , something which i seldom enjoy , sight seeing , the views , the crapping with friends , the food , hahaha didn't really get to eat the fantastic ones but was good enuff for me . my room mate was kinda fun .

with some last minute things to pask , a file to compile and a good nights rest ahead(hopefully) it could be my final entry before flying off to sydney . see you all in abt ten days ? and good luck for terms ( hahahahahahahahahha) yupp , i'll try to bring some stuff back .

it's over , concert's finally over . i felt uber happy i must say , the best concert i've had yet. well but the first thought on my mind when i arrived at vch wasn't about the concert but the recollection of SYF 2003. hai . saddness la deh , it got worse when i stepped on stage for sound check and i could still remember looking around on the exact spot , next to the bass drum during our own aes sound check and looking around at mr goh on the syf day itself while listening to the clairinets do their running notes for the opening of jupiter . brings back memories of our false hopes and more . it felt worse when we climbed the stairs up to the hall and i suddenly remembered all our seniors seated at the places where they were crying when the results were out and randomly remembered talking to gerard about my playing in the warm up room right before stepping up on stage for syf . hai . memories

but now , vch presents me another different set of experience and experiences to come .
las night ROCKED yupp . it was great fun . when dr lee gave the thumbs up during carmina, i felt uber happy and when the band played it's tuning note and you hear the VERY DISTINCT ORGAN sound echoing in the background . WOW . hahaha. then came hunchback . i was duamn worried for hunchback , i was afraid i would mess up again . during sound check , dr lee commented on me being too soft . but i think i did kinda ok , just got to wait and hear the recording on sat or something , i suspect i sped up a tad bit on one of my solos . hai hai . heck , at least i had guts and god pushed me to play my solo loud enough . haha .

intermission saw shiying , christie and hui yi but was looking for my friends first , did usual shit , took photos , that short fart of a sarah gave me my flower (thank you v.much there hahah) and when i was about to look for my juniors , it was time to assemble for perc ensemble .

went mad on stage for that , just WHACK . hahah wen long , me and andy , the three of us on the risers were whacking , we had loads of fun and all three of us went uber high . wen long was mad shit during jazz ensemble and i must say it TURANDOT AND ROSA was the highlight of the night . to see dr lee up there in his element , going high and all emo was wonderful even more so wonderful was the atmosphere there and hearing the organ sound appearing over and over again . i want the recording damn it . i wanna do it again .after that came MI 3 hahah . me and crystal played without our scores . lol we forgot to bring so just whack . but the last part was well , hahah wat the heck la .

had supper wif dr lee after that and poor thing , his car had problems .

alright , band camp was uber swell . could hear the difference in the music we made before and after the camp . haha was taught a very important lesson during camp and got to know my perc section alot more better hahaha and yes dr lee particiapted in one of those sessions and well ... hahahah thanks arh dr lee . lol
band camp was simply fun . can't wait to look forward to the december one . hehe

anyway , exco list was out yesterday . and this yr's batch is like a boy dominated one . and i tell you it was uber expected to get what i got . yes and feroz khan had to spoil my surprise . it's ok la bro .
i call it a blessing , even though i didn't try for it , hope for it , is prepared for it or pray for it , i guess the exco of 05 - 06 believed in me and had faith that i will carry out my duties well . honestly when feroz messaged me half way during pract " hey head QM " i was like uber shocked . i stoned for a while then told myself to calm down . you never know , it could be just a rumour i told myself . but well when hafiz announced the actual resulty , although i was already mentally prepared , erm , well i was just as stuneed . and feroz was there in the corner wif yangy on his lap smiling away .
